How we provide “Better senior care”

We start with a no-charge assessment by a real Registered Nurse (not a sales person).

This is a key step in making sure that we thoroughly understand what is going on with your parent – what their care needs are etc., and what your family’s expectations are. It’s also an opportunity for you and your family to ask any questions that may come up as part of the assessment.

The Nurse will discuss a plan of care based on the assessment, and discuss options with you.

With Eldercare Home Health there is always a Registered Nurse supervising and case managing your parent’s care. The Nurse is your “point person” and will help make sure things go as smoothly as possible.

Our caregivers are always interviewed by an experienced Registered Nurse. They are screened, bonded, receive orientation, and are properly set up as employees. We also run Vulnerable Sector Screening through the Toronto Police.

Caregivers are in regular contact with the Registered Nurse case managing your parent’s care. In addition, the Registered Nurse will visit regularly to see how things are going, first hand.
