Note: we are aware of some agencies describing the person who performs their assessments as being a Nurse, yet not being registered as a Nurse in Ontario. Only members of the College of Nurses can practise nursing in Ontario and use the titles “nurse,” “Registered Nurse,” “Registered Practical Nurse,” “Nurse Practitioner,” “RN,” “RPN,” or “NP.” It is illegal for anyone to practise nursing or use any of these titles in Ontario without a valid certificate of registration issued by the College of Nurses.

Assessments: Your parent’s assessment will be performed by a real, Ontario-registered, Registered Nurse. At no charge.
Owner: Local office is often a franchise of a US based company. Franchisees are often attracted by pitches promoting the business opportunity in senior care. Owner: Canadian owned and operated, Eldercare Home Health Inc. is an Integracare company.
Rate: Often multiple rates based on a variety of difficult to predetermine situations. Confusing and can be frustrating. Not good value in comparison to Eldercare Home Health. Rate: One hourly rate. Your parent gets real Registered Nurse supervised and case managed care – including a Registered Nurse on-call 24/7  (as a resource for the caregiver on site) at no additional cost. Plus, our rate is competitive with non-medical providers. Better senior care, less worry. Call us to learn more.
