We’re Eldercare Home Health. We’re a 12 year old home healthcare company founded and operated by a Registered Nurse. We provide care exclusively to the elderly and work throughout the GTA. We truly enjoy working with our Elderly clients and have developed a reputation for providing, what many say, is the best Eldercare in the GTA.

Job Description:

The positions we have open are for front line Visiting Nurse Supervisors. At Eldercare Home Health the responsibilities of the Visiting Nurse Supervisor are both demanding and rewarding. Demanding,  because the position is one of responsibility where your interventions will have a direct effect on clients’ health outcomes. Rewarding, because it’s a position where you’ll actually be able to use the best of your Nursing skills and judgement to do what’s best for the client. These are full time, permanent positions.

As the Visiting Nurse Supervisor you’ll be responsible for case management - including liaising with Family Members, Physiotherapists, Pharmacists, Doctors, and other medical and support professionals.  You will also have the opportunity to schedule and supervise the caregiving staff.

Your workday activities will be varied; visiting clients in their homes, supervising caregivers, meeting with healthcare professionals, researching care options for clients or meeting with your Nurse colleagues at our office. We have an office mascot, Tia, a friendly two year old Golden Retriever. (She also goes out into the community to visit with clients.)

You're an RN, have supervisory experience, excellent assessment skills, are energetic, self motivated and have a positive attitude toward aging. You enjoy front-line contact with clients and caregivers and have a great sense of humor.
